Answers to the Character Insanity Game
Wow, you guys gave me some truly cracktastic combinations this time. It was a fun challenge answering your question.
My list was:
1. Betty Suarez (Ugly Betty) 2. Riley Finn (BtVS) 3. Rusty Ryan (Ocean's 11) 4. Dean Winchester (Supernatural) 5. James Norrington (PotC) 6. Sara Tancredi (Prison Break) 7. Elizabeth Swann (PotC) 8. Victor Hendricksen (Supernatural) 9. Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter) 10. Sam Winchester (Supernatural) 11. John McClane (Die Hard) 12. Neville Longbottom (Harry Potter) 13. Bobby Singer (SuperNatural) 14. James Bond (the Daniel Craig version) 15. Danny Ocean (Ocean's 11)
storydivagirl asked: How does Riley Finn propose to James Bond?
"Look." Riley wiped his hands on his trousers and tried not fidget under the Bond's cold blue gaze. "I don't like it any more than you do, but I have my orders and you presumably have yours. And it's not my fault that the biggest arms dealer in Eastern Europe has suddenly decided to marry his boyfriend and honeymoon on an all-gay cruise in the Mediterranean. If this is what we have to do to get close to Vlaskov, then this is what we do."
"I realize that." Bond's smile was as icy as his eyes. Riley had faced down some scary things in his time, but this guy was making his skin crawl. "And I'm not objecting to the details of the... arrangement." He smirked in a way that suggested he knew exactly how much the "arrangement" was making Riley squirm. "I just don't understand why your outfit -- whatever it might be -- is involved in this at all. Vlaskov might've been born in the Ukraine, but he's now a British subject."
And his boyfriend is a nine-hundred-year-old vampire, Riley thought grimly. Except he couldn't say that, of course, so he just shrugged.
"Like I said, we both have our orders. So -- Bond, James Bond, will you marry me?"
Bond swept his gaze up Riley's body in a way that made the back of Riley's neck flush.
"Very well, Mr. Finn. I accept."
verstehen asked: If Betty Suarez, James Norrington, Bobby Singer, James Bond, and Danny Ocean went into a bar, what would they be drinking and who would win the inevitable bar brawl?
Bond would have a martini, duh. Norrington would drink rum, Danny would have a single malt Scotch, and Bobby would have a beer. Betty would have a frozen strawberry margarita, no salt.
When the brawl starts (prompted, I expect, by Bobby's attempt to spike everyone else's drinks with holy water), Danny quickly ducks out the nearest door. Betty hides under a table, and ends up the default winner by being the only one conscious when the blows stop flying.
ellen_fremedon asked: Sara Tancredi takes Bobby Singer out for a nice dinner. How does Sam Winchester ruin it?
Bobby and Sara are just starting to get to know each other when Sam bursts in, pursued by a pack of possessed wildebeests he'd accidentally raised while researching what he thought was a new kind of exorcism. The patio dining room at Chéz Laurent will never be the same again. Bobby never quite forgives Sam for ruining his chances with the classiest woman he'd ever managed to snag.
vampry asked: Betty Suarez, Victor Hendricksen and Bobby Singer are going into business. What kind of business is it and who's in charge? Plus, are they making any money?
They publish Evil-hunter's Monthly, a subscription-only trade magazine for hunters. Betty handles the editorial side of things, Bobby writes most of the articles, and Hendricksen takes care of the business and finance side. They barely make ends meet, because even though everyone agrees that their publication is incredibly useful, most hunters are too broke and nomadic to subscribe to a monthly magazine.
kefiraahava asked: Dean Winchester, Elizabeth Swann, and Danny Ocean have to cook a group meal for Betty Suarez, Rusty Ryan, and Victor Hendricksen. What do they cook, how do they divvy up the kitchen tasks, and what are Betty, Rusty, and Hendricksen's reactions to their kitchen efforts?
They have a cook-out. Dean grills burgers, hot dogs, and spicy chicken wings in what he calls his "special sauce recipe" but is really mostly Tabasco. Danny mixes drinks. Elizabeth says she'll make dessert, but ends up bringing a store-bought apple pie. Betty barely notices the food -- she's too busy trying to figure out how she got invited to this shindig in the first place. Rusty happily eats three helpings of everything. Hendricksen loudly and adamantly refuses to eat anything cooked by Dean. Finally, Betty ends up grilling a burger just for him so that the poor nice man wouldn't go hungry.
girasole asked: Sara Tancredi and Elizabeth Swann have one of those all-night, bourbon-fueled, passionately heartfelt discussions about life, the universe and everything. Do they love or hate each other in the morning, or simply understand each other better?
It's quite a night. Sara and Elizabeth drink huge amounts of rum, paint each other's toenails, braid each other's hair, and commiserate about broody, overly-chivalrous men who are never around when you want them to be. Sometime around three in the morning, when they're both really-really-really drunk and pouring out confessions about the things they've done for love, there's a tearful moment of "OMG, you're the only one who really understands me, let's be best friends forevuh!" but in the morning they find they're all talked out and don't really have anything else in common. They part on friendly but distant terms.
inmyriadbits asked: Betty Suarez, Rusty Ryan, James Norrington, Elizabeth Swann, Luna Lovegood, John McClane, Bobby Singer and Danny Ocean plan a heist. What are they trying to steal, and how well does it go?
They're trying to steal a magical time-travel McGuffin that will allow Norrington and Elizabeth to return back to their own time instead of being stuck in this stupid century when the oceans are full of toxic waste and the ships are all made of metal and plastic. Bobby comes along because he's the only one who knows that spell that will make the McGuffin work. McClane kind of stumbles onto the whole thing by accident, but ends up being very useful whenever somebody needs to be punched out.
The McGuffin turns out to be an abstract sculpture on Daniel Meade's desk, which is why they end up having to enlist Betty to help them get into the Mode offices after hours. The heist goes off without a hitch; or rather, whenever anything starts to look like a hitch, Luna looks all dreamy and wide-eyed and murmurs something apparently random that somehow manages to provide the solution to the problem. Danny and Rusty silently agree that she should be included on all their future jobs.
marycrawford asked: Elizabeth Swann and Bobby Singer are on the lam. What did they do, how does Dean Winchester try to stop them, and how do they escape?
That McGuffin from the previous question? Totally cursed. Elizabeth didn't make it back to her own time, and now she and Bobby are being chased all over the country by a pack of really pissed-off Zoroastrian demons. Dean isn't trying to stop them -- he's trying to help. The counter-curse is in John's journal, and eventually Dean chases Elizabeth and Bobby down and together they kick demon ass.
ljn317 asked: Are John McClane and Bobby Singer more likely to have a romance or a fight, and how will Sara Tancredi feel about it? </i>
John and Bobby are most likely to team up and kick the ass of something really nasty and evil. Sara admires their heroism but kind of wishes for fewer explosions or demon possessions.
eowyns asked: Elizabeth Swann and Neville Longbottom desperately need money, and are down to the wire. How did they get into this situation and how are they going to get out of it? Somewhere in there Betty Suarez is just getting in the way...
Elizabeth and Neville are both at an Sotheby's auction in London, bidding on a gold and onyx necklace that used to belong to Helga Hufflepuff. Neville wants it because according to legend, it has an incredibly powerful and now-lost healing spell inscribed on the back and he thinks it might heal his parents. Elizabeth just wants it 'cause it looks pretty. As the bidding goes higher and higher, they agree to pool their funds -- Neville is happy to let Elizabeth keep the necklace if she just lets him copy the inscription.
Betty temporarily complicates things by trying to buy the necklace to be an accessory on Mode's latest photo shoot, but drops out when Daniel calls to tell her that they're going with a silver-and-garnet theme instead.
Also from eowyns: Riley Finn, Luna Lovegood, and Danny Ocean have to sneak into a high-security government building. Why? They get caught by McClane on the inside, and...
Riley is there to test the security system. Luna wants to free the Krumple-Horned Snorkacks being held prisoner inside. Danny is looking for a tunnel that connects to a diamond vault in the adjoining building. They get caught by John McClane on the inside, and by the time the smoke clears, the entire ten-block area around them is nothing but a pile of charred rubble. Luna earnestly explains that this is what always happens when you annoy a Snorkack.
